MY LIFE
I was born in India and my first house was a 400 sq ft one-bed in what was then a sleepy coastal town with no piped water, telephones or regular power supply. India has come a long way since the 80s, and I consider it a privilege that my youth coincided with one of the greatest improvements in poverty reduction the world has seen.
In 2014, I visited New York on a work trip and was absolutely mesmerized by everything the city had to offer. I promised myself I would live there one day.
In 2016, I bumped into a beautiful girl at a stand-up comedy show and was attracted to her electric smile and vivacious laughter.I promised myself I would muster up the courage to ask her out.
Today I live with her (my wife) and my son in New York.

MY PASSIONS
I had never visited another country till I was 24. Over the next 15 years, I visited more than 50 countries. My reading material is usually a mix of history, geopolitics and understanding the motivations behind human behavior. I watch cricket, I play squash and am always up for a hike. My other interests are the business of technology, venture capital, startups and all things futuristic.
I’m vocal about what I believe, I write frequently and I am happy to share my knowledge, through Linkedin, my blog and podcast.
